Group Work: Youth Exchange

Project: Youth Exchange

Join in groups
Choose the leader
Decide the theme of the project: a thematic concept that the group wish to explore (e.g. citizenship, environment, human rights, arts and culture)
Think of activities related to the theme chosen and build a schedule (first week programme – example page 59)
Choose two of the activities and describe them:

- one activity must be a practical one to do with the class and convey the message of your theme

Sharing and discussions: comparing different point of views, cultures, ideas and beliefs
This can be done through different creative activities
Discussions
Games
Visual representation
To show and reflect on our differences, similarities and cultures

- The other activity you must present it to the class, talk about its aim and how it could be implemented maybe at your school, within your local community…

Think, plan and act
A project can also have a practical aim
Participants can think about an issue
Develop solutions together… and implement them
