Lisboa, 24 abr (Lusa) - A 82.ª Feira do Livro de Lisboa abre hoje sob o lema "Há mais vida na cidade" propondo livros a preços mais baratos, novidades...

Feira do Livro é hoje inaugurada em Lisboa com 112 participantes

Lisboa, 24 abr (Lusa) - A 82.ª Feira do Livro de Lisboa abre hoje sob o lema "Há mais vida na cidade" propondo livros a preços mais baratos, novidades editoriais e uma programação cultural que inclui dança e fado, entre outras expressões.

A feira, que decorre no cenário habitual do Parque Eduardo VII até ao dia 13 de maio, conta com 240 pavilhões de 112 participantes, entre eles a rede de Bibliotecas Municipais que, sob o mote "Lusofonia a língua que nos une", apresenta diversas iniciativas para os jovens, famílias e público em geral.

Susana Silvestre, da rede de bibliotecas, destacou entre as diversas iniciativas, a celebração dos 10 anos da restauração da independência de Timor-Leste, a 13 de maio, e o dia da Língua e Cultura Portuguesas, a 05 de maio.

No âmbito desta programação serão apresentados um espetáculo de fado, com Marco Rodrigues e Ana Sofia Varela, e um outro com a Roda de Choro de Lisboa.

Quanto aos horários, de segunda-feira a quinta-feira, a Feira abre às 12:30 e encerra às 23:00; à sexta-feira, o encerramento é às 24:00; ao sábado a Feira abre às 11:00, encerrando às 24:00 e aos domingo o público poderá ver e comprar livros das 11:00 às 23:00.

A programação da Feira inclui uma série de debates sobre tradução, intitulada "Língua da Europa", tendo Miguel Freitas da Costa, secretário-geral da Associação Portuguesa de Editores e Livreiros (APEL), que organiza o evento, destacado também "a forte programação dos diferentes editores" que inclui debates, sessões de autógrafos e de apresentação de livros, música e "workshops".

A Feira é inaugurada às 17:00 pela vereadora da Cultura, Catarina Vaz Pinto em representação do presidente da Câmara de Lisboa, e pelo presidente da APEL, Paulo Teixeira Pinto, contando ainda com a presença do secretário de Estado da Cultura, Francisco José Viegas, e de embaixadores de países de língua oficial portuguesa.

"Participem no evento “Acenda uma vela pelos Direitos Humanos” e ajudem a iluminar os rostos das pessoas que Amnistia Internacional defende e por quem trabalha.
Juntem-se à Amnistia no Largo do Camões, em Lisboa, no dia 10 de Dezembro de 2011, às 19h.

No 50º aniversário da Amnistia Internacional vaão evidenciar ainda mais a génese do seu trabalho de defesa de direitos humanos: os indivíduos em risco.

Este será mais um momento global do aniversário dos 50 anos da Amnistia Internacional que tem como objectivos:

Remembrance Day/Poppy Day

November is the time of the year when Britain wears a red poppy in memory of those who sacrificed their lives for them during wars.

The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month marks the signing of the Armistice, on 11th November 1918, to signal the end of World War One.

At 11 am on 11 November 1918 the guns of the Western Front fell silent after more than four years continuous warfare.

Remembrance Day is on 11 November. It is a special day set aside to remember all those men and women who were killed during the two World Wars and other conflicts. At one time the day was known as Armistice Day and was renamed Remembrance Day after the Second World War.

Remembrance Sunday is held on the second Sunday in November, which is usually the Sunday nearest to 11 November. Special services are held at war memorials and churches all over Britain.

Remembrance Day is also known as Poppy Day, because it is traditional to wear an artificial poppy. They are sold by the Royal British Legion, a charity dedicated to helping war veterans.

A poem called 'For the Fallen' is often read aloud during the ceremony; the most famous stanza of which reads:

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

Sobre o concurso

O Grande © é um projecto promovido pela AGECOP – Associação para a Gestão da Cópia Privada, dirigido às escolas do Ensino Secundário e 3º Ciclo. Este projecto tem como principal objectivo a educação, sensibilização e literacia do público mais jovem no que respeita ao Direito de Autor e aos Direitos Conexos. Pretende mobilizar os jovens através das suas escolas em torno de um tema que lhes diz directamente respeito – a protecção da propriedade intelectual – promovendo mudanças de comportamento no que se refere a esta temática.
A abordagem destes temas é feita através de um concurso de criatividade, que lança aos jovens o desafio de criarem uma obra. Pretende incutir o valor da criatividade e da obra original, que é a base e o fundamento do Direito de Autor e dos Direitos Conexos.
Os jovens criadores terão assim oportunidade de desenvolver obras originais (inéditas), individualmente ou em grupo (podendo contar com a participação de um ou mais professores) em diferentes áreas de criação, tendo por base a importância do Direito de Autor e dos Direitos Conexos.

Choose the leader
Decide the theme of the project: a thematic concept that the group wish to explore (e.g. citizenship, environment, human rights, arts and culture)

What is it?
